Electrification
Constant search for innovation and the need to protect the environment have led us to invest considerably in the “Electrification” market.
Our experience is the result of several research projects, on which we are successful, and collaborations with the main O.E. M., with whom we develop activities in the field of e-mobility, from the Battery Pack up to the entire Powertrain.
In recent years, we have focused on new storage systems, to address a problem with low battery capacity.
Research has led us to design and build Sale-Tests, where a team of experts works to carry out tests on batteries.
Battery Test Bed
Daca-i performs the Battery Testing Activities in two separate test-rooms.
The first is located at the Reggio Emilia area, the “High Voltage” test room in which the activities are related to a typical power band of battery packs. The instruments are all programmable, so the execution of the tests is guaranteed, according to the Customer’s specifications or standard test.
At the Federico II University Pole in Naples, located in San Giovanni a Teduccio there is instead a “Low Voltage” room, designed to satisfy the need for a power band, typical of Battery Modules.


High Voltage Test Performed
- Test and validation of batteries with power up to 500 kW;
- Test on batteries for electric and hybrid vehicles according to the indications of the USABC manuals;
- Simulation / emulation of battery packs to support their design;
- Tests on batteries in a climatic chamber with Hazard level up to 5 (EUCAR classification);
- Tests on customer specifications.
Low Voltage Test Performed
- Test and validation of batteries with power up to 32 kW;
- Test on batteries for electric and hybrid vehicles according to the indications of the USABC manuals;
- Simulation / emulation of battery packs to support their design;
- Tests on batteries in a climatic chamber with Hazard level up to 4 (EUCAR classification);
- Tests on customer specifications.
